Flights

One scan, and the flight is yours

All your flights in one place, upcoming and past. Times, terminal, gate and seat: everything about a flight is always at hand.

  • Scan your boarding pass

Point the camera at the barcode. Flight, airports and date fill in by themselves, and times and aircraft come from the schedule.

  • Know the flight number?

Enter it with the date and Routee finds the rest: times, aircraft, airline.

  • Flew years ago?

Add the route by hand. Old journeys deserve a place on the map too.

Stats

How far have you flown?

Routee marks the countries and cities you visit on the map by itself and keeps the history of your flights. Learn more about yourself: how many kilometres you’ve covered, how many hours you’ve spent in the air, what kind of traveller’s chronotype you have, your favourite month to travel and much more.

Questions and answers

When does Routee launch?

Soon, on iPhone and Android. Leave your email and we’ll write on launch day. The app comes in English, German, French and Russian.

How do I add flights I’ve already taken?

Recent ones by scanning the boarding pass or by flight number. Older ones by hand: the route and the date are enough.

Where do the places in the guides come from?

We put the guides together by hand and check every place before it goes live. There are guides to more than ten cities, with over 300 places.

Can I plan a trip with friends?

Yes, with a subscription. Invite friends into the plan and you edit it together: cities, places, bookings and expenses.

Who can see my profile?

You decide. In the privacy settings you choose who sees your profile details, who can message you and who can add you to groups: everyone, friends only or no one. Your name and avatar are always visible, so friends can find you.

How do flight chats work, and are they safe?

A week before departure, a shared chat for the flight’s passengers appears in the flight’s details; a week after landing it is deleted with all its data. Before you join we show the rules: no insults, threats, spam, ads or messages about threats to flight safety — not even as a joke. You can report any message or profile — moderators review reports, and the author never learns who reported them. You can block anyone, and for breaking the rules we restrict chat access or block the account. If something goes wrong, write to support right from the settings — we usually reply within a couple of days.

How are my data and messages protected?

We take the protection of your data seriously: for every user we follow the EU’s GDPR and the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection. Everything the app sends travels over an encrypted connection, chat messages and photos are stored encrypted, and everyone sees only their own data and what others have shared with them. Chat photos are deleted from the server after 30 days. What we collect, why and for how long is in our privacy policy. You can delete your account, and your data with it, at any time.
